Job summary

EnerSys Energy Products Inc is seeking a Plant 2 Chemical Lab Tech to support the EnerSys Energy Systems division. The role focuses on analytical testing, data recording, and instrument maintenance to ensure manufacturing quality across multiple processes.

The candidate will prepare chemicals, perform wastewater and material analyses, and help optimize laboratory procedures while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Basic high school level chemistry knowledge.
• 3 years of appropriately related experience in the industry.
• Familiarity with laboratory safety and quality control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain chemicals used in analyses, including dilutions and concentrations.
• Perform routine maintenance on analytical instruments to minimize downtime.
• Conduct analyses on wastewater, lead, and sulfuric acid samples (ICP-OES, Spark-OES, turbidity, titrations, etc.).
• Record and file data daily and report results to the appropriate department.
