Job summary

X-Bow Systems is seeking a Chemical Handling Technician in Luling, TX. You will transfer materials to maintain inventory in active lab and production facilities, manage waste per site policies, and maintain equipment and PPE inventory.

You will prep raw materials, assist in weigh-ups for mixes, and conduct full mixes while collaborating with technicians, engineers, chemists, and safety personnel. Strong communication and adherence to procedures are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in chemical handling/process environments.
• High School diploma required.
• Experience with MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Willing and able to work with hazardous chemicals.
• Able to stand/wear for 5+ hours.
• Able to lift 75 pounds.
• Willing to clean lab equipment.
• Willing to follow procedures and document results in web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Transfer materials onsite to maintain inventory in active lab and production facilities.
• Transfer waste materials in accordance with site policies.
• Maintain and clean chemical processing equipment and PPE inventory across facilities.
• Prep raw materials for use and assist in weigh-ups for mixes; conduct full mixes.
• Interface with technicians, engineers, chemists, and safety personnel.
