Qualifications

Pursuing a BS in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
Strong attention to detail.
Self-motivated with ability to work in a team.
Able to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

Responsibilities

Performs routine chemical engineering/chemistry tasks under close supervision.
Uses computer-assisted software and equipment to perform tasks.
Assists with lab and pilot-scale testing indoors and outdoors.
Collects and prepares data for evaluation.
May assist in coordinating projects from conception to final plan.
Handles various administrative duties.
Provides support to staff as needed.
May support multiple facilities in the Mining & Manufacturing unit (California, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming).
