During the 10–12 week program, you will work on determined projects, learn process operations, and be mentored by a Senior Engineer, while contributing to safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Junior level pursuing Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related field.
• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety
• Live and foster the IPL Corporate Value, and Participate in BEx initiatives and activities
• Work with the operations team on a daily basis to learn and understand how the plant operates
• Spend time understanding the business while being mentored by assigned manager and Senior Engineer
• Collaborate with Operations, Management, and Engineering staff to complete given tasks
• Involvement with researching and design of projects
• Present findings/results on projects from internship at the end of the program
