Job summary
Redwood Materials in Sparks, Nevada is seeking a Chemical Engineer to support battery recycling operations. You will work with operations and maintenance to ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable processes, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- 3–5 years in chemical plant operations or design and commissioning.
- Experience solving chemical and metallurgical processing problems.
- Testwork and pilot plant design/operation experience.
- Process modelling and equipment sizing to link testwork to project implementation.
Responsibilities
- Work with operations to ensure safe, efficient, sustainable processes.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional teams for new plant and equipment.
- Perform testwork and pilot plant design and operation.
- Develop flowsheets and perform trade-off studies.
- Assist with process plant implementation, commissioning and ramp-up.
