Qualifications

• Ability to understand teaching and evaluation methodologies used in online classroom modalities
• Knowledge of curriculum development to align with industry standards
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Ability to collaborate with clinical sites
• Ability to recruit and promote programs
• Ability to follow established TSTC policies and procedures
• Develop curriculum and instruct online courses
• Deliver instruction to achieve course goals and objectives
• Create a professional and effective learning environment online/clinical setting
• Demonstrate technology use that supports learning and teaching

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver high quality instruction and facilitate student learning.
• Develop course syllabi and instructional plans and organize daily classes with innovative techniques.
• Fulfill schedule, maintain student records, ensure safe instructional environments.
• Advise students with timely, accurate information and coordinate with Student Success.
• Participate in tours and recruitment events and assist in program planning.
• Demonstrate teamwork and serve students, parents, employers, and the community.

Education

Associates Degree (Substance Abuse Counseling or Chemical Dependency Counselor)
