Job summary

Creedence Energy Services in Oakwood, TX is seeking a Chemical Delivery Specialist to provide chemical treatments at oilfield well sites, following customer specs and safety protocols. Valid CDL and clean driving record are required.

You will load/unload, deliver on schedule, and maintain logs and inventory, with emphasis on safety, teamwork, and accurate reporting. This is a full-time, non-exempt role with home nightly and overtime.

Qualifications

  • Requires high school diploma or GED.
  • Experience in oil and gas preferred (1–3 years).
  • CDL required; hazmat/tanker/airbrake endorsements preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Deliver chemicals and treat wells as scheduled.
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Maintain accurate delivery tickets and inventory records.

Chemical Delivery Specialist

Location:

Oakwood TX

Schedule:

Mon-Fri, with the occasional weekend due to weather delays, customer requests, etc. Daytime hours.

FLSA Status:

Non-Exempt, Hourly. Home every night. Overtime is available and expected.

Certifications/Licenses:

Class B CDL with tanker, hazmat, and airbrake endorsements required. Must be licensed to operate manual transmissions. Class A CDL preferred.

Job Summary

Provides chemical treatments to oilfield well sites according to customer specifications and company processes. Clean driving record required. Must be able to work at a fast pace while keeping safety as a top priority.

Essential Duties –other duties as assigned
  • Properly load and unload trucks
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company vehicle and equipment
  • Deliver chemicals and treat wells in a timely manner, as scheduled
  • Treat wells to prevent corrosion, scale build up, etc.
  • Accurately complete bills of lading (BOLs) and other reports according to company policy
  • Maintain accurate inventory reports according to company policy
  • Timely completion of reports and documentation
  • Maintain driver’s logs according to DOT regulations
  • Follow all SOPs (standard operating procedures)
  • Work well both independently and as a team
Other Qualifications

Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED and 1-3 years in oil and gas industry is preferred. Certifications/Licenses: Class A CDL preferred, Class B CDL with hazmat, tanker, airbrakes endorsement required. Must be licensed to drive manuals and automatics. Driving Requirements: Follow all FMCSA and DOT regulations.

Physical Requirements

Lift and carry up to 100 pounds. Pull and drag hoses in outdoor environments, include adverse weather. Tip and move 55-gallon drums, weighing up to 600 pounds with the use of equipment. Must be able to reach, push, pull, and grasp with arms and hands. Will require daily climbing, twisting, standing, crouching. kneeling, sitting, walking, driving, and transitioning in/out of vehicles. Must be able to talk, hear, and feel attributes of objects or temperatures by touching with the skin. Required to have the visual acuity to safely and legally operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.

Work Environment:

– Indoors and outdoors with exposure to environmental conditions such as extreme winter weather, precipitation, and wind. Includes potential exposure to harmful chemicals, dust, odors, fumes, oil, and gases on a daily basis. Employee will be subject to road conditions found throughout the Williston Basin. Noise level is typically moderate, occasionally loud.

Communication Skills –

Effective verbal and written communication skills as well as providing excellent customer service.

Language Skills –

Ability to read, interpret, and understand documents such as safety rules, safety data sheets (SDSs), operating instructions, and procedure manual. English language fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending. Bilingual is beneficial.

Cognitive Skills –

Ability to read and follow detailed delivery schedules, routing instructions, and safety data sheets while accurately identifying chemical products, labels, and hazard markings. Requires strong attention to detail and situational awareness to safely operate delivery equipment across varying site conditions. Must prioritize tasks and exercise sound judgment while coordinating loading/offloading operations, product transfers, and accurate completion of delivery tickets and inventory documentation.

Computer Skills –

Efficiently navigate a web browser, mobile applications, electronic timesheets, MS Office, and programs such as OneNote for recording daily deliveries. Must possess a smartphone with internet access.

Mathematical Skills –

Ability to accurately calculate and record chemical inventory is crucial. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using weight and volume measurements.

Must pass a pre-employment drug test, motor vehicle record check, FMCSA Clearinghouse, and background check.
