HPC-Industrial is seeking a Chemical Cleaning Technician to join a safety-focused team in Austin, TX. The role involves handling confined spaces, working at heights, and operating cleaning equipment in heavy industrial environments.

This physically demanding position requires travel and the ability to manage equipment safely. Responsibilities include equipment setup, monitoring, chemical injection under supervision, and adherence to all safety policies and PPE guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and set up cleaning equipment (pumps, hoses, circulators) per job schematics.
• Monitor equipment during circulation for integrity and efficiency.
• Perform chemical injection and mixing under supervision.
• Adhere to safety policies and wear PPE at all times.
• Maintain PPE and equipment premaintenance.
• Assist in installing/repairing valves, hoses, gaskets as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and travel as required.

The Chemical Cleaning Technician responsibilities may include confined space entry, working at heights and working alongside various types of equipment. This is a physically intensive position.

• Must always come to work fit for duty.

• Operate and set up all necessary cleaning equipment such as but not limited to pumps, hoses, and circulators in accordance with operations job schematics, training, guidelines, and safety procedures.

• Monitor all equipment during circulation for integrity and efficiency.

• Perform chemical injection and mixing activities under direction of supervision.

• Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including but not limited to wearing personal protective equipment.

• Maintain personal PPE.

• Ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, hot, and cold industrial environments.

• Maintain and perform premaintenance on equipment.

• Help install, fix, repair valves, caps, hoses, pump gaskets, and all other external and internal equipment as needed.

• Assist in the inspection of equipment, hoses, pumps hose connections, chemical circulators, and general work area prior to starting any job. Inform supervisor of deficiencies, which may cause accidents, injuries, or lost productivity.

• General labor experience is a plus.

• Experience in chemical cleaning is a plus.

• Must be able to travel for extended periods of time.

• Valid driver’s license or identification card.

• Respond to emergency calls 24 hours, 7 days a week if called upon.

• Ability to work for extended periods of time within a confined space, in extreme temperature environments and at high elevations.

• Ability to perform duties in accordance with training and standard operating procedures.

• Ability to understand and follow specific procedures and directions.

• Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned.

• Ability to lift, move and handle up to 50lbs.

• Physically capable of standing and or walking continuously for extended periods of time if necessary.

• Physically capable of climbing, bending / stooping, and kneeling continuously.
