Job summary

Shurtape Technologies, LLC is seeking a Chemical Applications Operator to load, unload, operate and troubleshoot the high-speed chemical applications line. You will service the machine with chemicals, pack, box, and palletize finished products.

Responsibilities include feeding tape, changing station configurations, verifying BOMs, and maintaining QA standards while supporting continuous improvement and training new team members in a safety-conscious manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to perform data-entry on SAP Computer System.
• Familiar with company philosophy, procedures, practices, manufacturing environment and equipment.
• Possess strong work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Unload slit rolls and inspect for quality and contamination.
• Feed tape into lanes and ensure even stacking.
• Change over stations, adjust rails and bars to diameter.
• Verify BOM and ensure proper supplies are used.
• Keep QA camera area free of rejects.
• Inspect product as it comes off the line before packing.
• Thread top and bottom labelers and load canisters.
• Assist in continuous improvement and training of new associates.
• Perform daily cleaning responsibilities.
