Job summary

Valley Health System is seeking a hospital kitchen professional to prepare and cook meals for patients, staff, and events at The Valley Hospital-Paramus. The position requires evening shifts in a hospital setting and a focus on quality and safety in food preparation.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, formal training in quantity food preparation, and ServSafe certification, with at least three years of institutional cooking experience.

Ability to function competently and maintain composure during stressful situations and changing work environment related to changing Department needs. Ability to utilize effective time management to set priorities and perform job related responsibilities. Ability to effectively problem-solve.
