FoodWorks, a division of Compass Group USA, is seeking a Chef Manager in Olatha, KS to lead culinary and service operations. The role focuses on menu development, cost controls, inventory, and sustainable sourcing within a contract foodservice setting.

The successful candidate will oversee kitchen operations, maintain P&L accountability, and drive excellence in food quality and service. Local sourcing and exposition cooking experience are valued, with ServSafe a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a working knowledge of HACCP.
• Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining setting, or restaurant with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control.
• Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Experience with exposition cooking needed.
• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable.
• ServSafe certified is a plus.

Job Summary
