Canteen is seeking a growth-minded Chef Manager to lead both culinary and food service operations for our growing business. You will be responsible for the success of the culinary and food service operation.

The role emphasizes strong menu development, cost controls, inventory management, and a commitment to sustainability, with opportunities to source local products and manage a contract service.

Qualifications

• Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining setting, or restaurant with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control
• Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable
• HACCP knowledge is preferred
• ServSafe certification is a plus

Responsibilities
