You will drive culinary excellence, manage inventory, costs, procurement, and sustainability initiatives, while delivering innovative menus and first-class hospitality.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of culinary management in high-volume settings.
  • Strong knowledge of cost controls, purchasing, and inventory.
  • Experience with menu development and presentation.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a culinary team.
  • Commitment to quality, sustainability, and local sourcing.
  • ServSafe certification is a plus.

Job Summary

We are seeking a growth-minded Chef Manager to lead the culinary and food service operation for a premier client account. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on culinary leader who combines a passion for exceptional food and hospitality with strong business and people leadership. The ideal candidate will inspire and develop a high-performing team, drive culinary excellence and innovation, and confidently manage the operational and financial aspects of the business while consistently exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full culinary management of food service operation to include inventory, ordering and receiving
  • Sets clear expectations, develops the team, and holds people accountable
  • Delivers consistent food quality, presentation, and menu creativity
  • Manages food cost, labor, waste, and purchasing while meeting the client’s expectations
  • Proficient in menu development, cost controls, purchasing and inventory with a focus on sourcing and utilizing local food products
  • Possesses a passion for sustainability
Preferred Qualifications
  • Must have a working knowledge of HACCP
  • At least 5 years of culinary management experience in high-volume contract food service, fine dining setting, or restaurant with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control
  • Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate a culinary team by setting clear expectations, providing coaching and feedback, and holding team members accountable for performance.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering consistently high-quality food, exceptional presentation, and creative, innovative menus that elevate the overall dining experience.
  • Strong understanding of food service operations and financial performance, with the ability to effectively manage food and labor costs, purchasing, inventory, and waste while meeting or exceeding client expectations.
  • ServSafe certified is a plus
