Job summary

Montage Big Sky is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our culinary team in a luxury hotel setting. You will coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and execution of food orders, mentor junior cooks, and contribute to creating innovative menu items while maintaining the highest standards of service.

Ideal candidates bring at least three years of cooking experience in a standalone restaurant or hotel, strong culinary techniques, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of culinary techniques and cooking methods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment with excellent communication skills.
• Three years minimum of cooking experience in a standalone restaurant or hotel environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Luxury hotel experience is a plus.

Your Journey

Physical Requirements

• Grasping, holding, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending over
• Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods of time during your scheduled shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shift
• Ability to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi‑regular basis
• Must be able to work in extreme temperatures like freezers (-10°F) and kitchens (+110°F)
