Job summary

Arkview Recovery Center in Mechanicsburg is seeking a Chef Assistant to help prepare and serve healthy meals for clients and staff while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen.

You will assist with meal prep, keep areas clean, follow food safety standards, receive deliveries, rotate stock, and support dietary needs and special requests in a treatment environment.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or food service experience.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Reliable, organized, and team-oriented.
• Comfortable working in a treatment setting.

Position Summary

The Chef Assistant helps prepare and serve healthy meals for clients and staff while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal prep, cooking, and serving
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean and organized
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards
• Receive and stock deliveries, rotate inventory
• Support dietary needs and special requests
