LaVaquita in Wisconsin is seeking a cheese production operator on the first shift. Candidates must hold a Wisconsin Cheesemaker's License or Pasteurizer Operator's license, or have relevant experience. A $2,000 signing bonus is offered after 90 days of continuous employment.
Responsibilities include cooking milk and ingredients, pasteurization, separating milk, and ensuring proper fat content as per recipes. SAP is used to manage ingredients, with GMPs and safety standards enforced.
Note - In order to be considered for this position, candidates MUST hold a current Cheesemaker's License from the State of Wisconsin Dept. of Agriculture, or a Pasteurizer Operator's license, or a combination of license/experience. Candidates without relevant experience will NOT be considered. This is a FIRST shift position.

GENERAL PURPOSE
Perform all duties to include the cooking of milk and specified ingredients to make cheese according to recipe. Pasteurize and separate milk to obtain prescribed butterfat content.
