Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a Dry Side Rover to assist the dryer and bagger operators in Minnesota. You will ensure cheese powders are safe, sealed, and produced to DFA specifications, while supporting cleaning, labeling, sampling, and waste management tasks.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment and work areas, verifying labels, and performing QA checks in the bagging room. Must be able to read, write and speak English and work a full 12-hour shift in a sanitary environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow all GMPs and be compliant with food safety, quality and sanitation standards.
• Assist and relieve dryer operator and bagger.
• Maintain dryer, towers, and ground floor areas to keep clean and sanitary.
• Handle label verification, sample collection, and waste management.
• Support washouts, changeovers, and pallet wrapping; move finished goods to warehouse.
• Resupply packaging materials and perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
