Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous cheerleading and/or coaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of stunting techniques, choreography, and safety guidelines.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid and/or AACCA or NFHS Cheer Safety Certification preferred.
• Must pass background check per school policy.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead practices, conditioning sessions, and team meetings.
• Develop and teach cheers, chants, stunts, and dance routines for various events.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all team members.
• Coordinate appearances at school games, pep rallies, competitions, and community events.
• Enforce rules, maintain discipline, and promote team values.
• Manage team logistics, including scheduling, travel, uniforms, and equipment.
• Communicate regularly with athletes, parents, and school administration.
• Stay up-to-date with cheerleading safety standards and competition regulations.
