Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Florida teaching certificate required if participating at the competitive level.
• Valid First Aid/CPR/AED certificate.
• Valid AACCA Spirit Safety certificate.
• Current employee of the School District of Lee County.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching and mentoring to students.
• Organize and supervise meetings and activities during the contractual day and beyond.
• Assist with transportation, chaperones, and event arrangements within and outside the county.
• Manage cheerleader practices and tryouts with the Activities/Athletic Director.
• Ensure care and security of school and district property; report accidents.
• Plan fundraising activities in coordination with the Activities/Athletic Director.
