Job summary

Crossroads YMCA in Griffith, IN is seeking a Cheer Coach to lead energetic, safe cheer classes for youth and adults. You will plan age- and skill-appropriate lessons, teach routines, and build positive relationships with families.

The role requires energy, patience, and adaptability across skill levels; CPR/First Aid certifications within 30 days, plus cheer experience. Evening/weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age 15 required.
  • 12 months experience in participating in cheer training, with prior experience teaching gymnastics lessons preferred.
  • Certifications required within 30 days of hire: CPR/AED & First Aid and New Leader Orientation.

Pay starting at $10.00 per hour and up based on experienceBring your spirit, share your passion, and join the Crossroads YMCA Cheer Team!As a Cheer Coach, you'll have the opportunity to work with children, teens, and/or adults while teaching cheer skills, building confidence, and creating an environment where everyone feels welcome and supported.What You Can ExpectNo two classes are exactly alike.
