Lowe's is seeking a friendly cashier to ensure customers leave our Paducah, KY store with a positive experience and great value. You will handle payments, exchanges, and friendly assistance at the register, while helping customers find the best deals.

Most tasks occur at the register, but you may assist other departments, restock, or move carts as needed. This part-time role supports growth and flexible scheduling within Lowe's.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state
• Bilingual skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges
• Answer customer questions
• Help maintain a clean, safe workstation
• Complete other duties as assigned
