Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Front-End Team Member to help create a smooth checkout experience for customers. You will scan items, bag groceries, and assist with questions while keeping the area neat and operations running smoothly.

You will rotate between tasks, manage transactions, restock supplies, and maintain a friendly, fast-paced environment. No two shifts are the same, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and helping customers finish their shopping efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ years old, with eligibility to work in the US.
• Completion of cashier/front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Scan items, process transactions, bag groceries and assist customers.
• Answer questions and help finalize purchases with friendly service.
• Keep the front-end area clean, organized, and running smoothly.
• Rotate between tasks: handling transactions, collecting carts, restocking supplies, and maintaining checkout area.
