Responsibilities

• Ring out customers using POS register with cash, check, and card transactions.
• Provide accurate change and close out register at end of shift.
• Assist customers with large purchases and carry items to their cars as needed.
• Replenish inventory and merchandising in the checkout area and incoming orders.
• Maintain checkout area and store cleanliness, including restrooms and break rooms.
• Answer phones with proper greeting and provide customer service level support.
• Assist with inventory management, price marking, and general merchandising.
• Identify and return outdated or overstocked merchandise to suppliers.
• Package and prepare items for home or business delivery.
• Complete mandatory trainings and perform other duties as assigned.
