Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Ohio is hiring a Warehouse Checker/Loader IV for day shift. You will load and secure products, use hand tools or powered equipment, and maintain quality control before loading.

We offer a competitive $21 per hour, full-time schedule, with benefits beginning after 60 days, vacation and sick leave accrual from day one, holidays after 90 days, and a 401(k) plan after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• Reading, writing and understanding English sufficiently to perform tasks safely and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure products in trailers in a safe manner.
• Manually or with powered equipment.
• Maintain quality control for non-conveyable products prior to loading.
• Report concerns about product integrity to a supervisor.
• Communicate special circumstances to the delivery driver.
• Maintain a clean, debris-free work area.
• Work safely to prevent injuries and damage.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Benefits You Can Count On

• Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Start time: 10:00 am until the end of production. Once production is met, the shift is released.

What You’ll Do As a Warehouse Checker/Loader IV

• Load and secure products in trailers in a safe manner.
• Job duties will be completed by hand or by use of powered equipment.
• Maintain quality control for Non conveyable products prior to loading.
• Bring any concerns about product integrity to a supervisor's attention.
• Communicate any special circumstances to the delivery driver via the Shipping Loading Report.
• Maintain a clean, debris-free work area.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products and equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications You’ll Bring As a Warehouse Teammate

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
