Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR subsidiary, seeks a Design Engineer Intern to contribute to the Future Chassis engineering team in Denton, Texas. You will collaborate on product development, design updates, drawings, and technical documentation while gaining hands-on experience with validation and testing activities.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an Engineering or related program, proficient in MS Office, with strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills, including 3D

Qualifications

The candidate we seek will be currently enrolled in an Engineering or a related program.

Responsibilities

Assisting product development engineers
Product design updates
Component & assembly drawings
Engineering & technical documentation
Validation & pilot truck build activities
Validation & testing buck assembly
Work in a collaborative small-team environment
Six Sigma documentation to ensure high quality results
Engineering activity & status reports
