Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in a testing environment.
• Automotive technical knowledge of main vehicle components.
• Ability to use hand and power tools to meet specifications.
• Experience with sensors installation and data acquisition is an asset.
• Knowledge of computer operations with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial parts setup with pictures, measurements, labeling.
• Execute vehicle maintenance and component retrofits as per testing plan.
• Maintain test facilities' climatic, salt and mud testing areas.
• Run driving cycles on fatigue tracks and public roads.
• Install sensors and data acquisition for vehicle tests.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair defects from testing.
• Label test samples using internal software tools.
• Transport instrumented test vehicles to proving grounds (~120 miles roundtrip).
• Record data for test reports and capture video when required.
• Report progress to Senior Technician or Test Engineer.
