Job Details: Job Location: Chaska Campus - Chaska, MN 55318. Salary Range: $20.00 - $20.00 Hourly.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The Grace Church Chaska Internship is a 10‑hour‑per‑week opportunity designed to equip and develop emerging leaders for ministry. Interns will gain hands‑on experience, spiritual growth, and leadership development while serving within Grace Church Chaska.

Chaska NXT Gen Internship (Student Ministry)

• Send weekly parent emails and any necessary follow‑up communication.
• Lead and disciple a small group of NXT students.
• Co‑lead and help develop the NXT Chaska outreach team by training and raising up leaders.
• Assist with the logistics of Wednesday night, such as coordinating food delivery, writing small group questions, planning games, and set up.
• Attend retreats and conferences as requested.
• Learn and practice teaching techniques from the stage by serving as a member of the rotational teaching team.
• Collaborate and support other Chaska NXT Gen needs, Chaska Campus needs, and EP teams as needed.
• Read, discuss, and participate in required learning assignments with supervisor.

Chaska Worship Internship

Co‑lead the youth worship team with the Worship Pastor by:

• Planning worship sets.
• Scheduling team members.
• Recruiting and mentoring youth leaders.
• Leading rehearsals on Monday nights.
• Leading the services on Wednesday nights.

• Actively participate in weekly Chaska NXT Experience Meeting.
• Lead with the Sunday morning worship team and as assigned.
• Support setup and prep for Wednesdays (slide creation, tech, and game, etc.).
• Read and discuss required reading materials with supervisor.
• Participate in an evaluation and debrief of goals throughout the course of the internship with supervisor.

• Have a commitment to personal and active participation in the fulfillment of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).
• Demonstrate a spiritual capacity and heart willingness to view this ministry as being a ministry unto the Lord, by serving the body of Grace Church.
• Timely and disciplined.
• Live a life of spiritual discipline as well as a lifestyle above reproach. Spiritual character and spiritual discipline are crucial for leadership in our ministry.
• A solid foundation for Christian living built on these building blocks: Bible Study, Prayer, Worship, Evangelism, Discipleship, and Fellowship.
