Job summary

InnovAge PACE in Charlottesville, VA is seeking Independent Contractors for a driver role to assist seniors with appointments and social outings. You will drive a personal vehicle (must be 2015 or newer) and complete trips from first pickup to last drop-off on a schedule, Monday–Friday mornings and afternoons.

Pay is $32/hour with a $200 completion bonus and weekly direct deposit. Insurance and client credentialing may apply; background checks and vaccination requirements are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Valid VA driver's license and clean driving record.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• 21+ years old.
• Vehicle 2015 or newer (4-door sedan, minivan or compact SUV).
• At least one year experience working with seniors 55+.
• Pass background check; no felonies or DUI/DWIs.
• Vaccinations: Covid and Influenza (or willing to sign declination forms and wear a mask).

For this contract opportunity you will need access to an eligible personal vehicle.

Service hours are Monday-Friday, 7am-11am and 1pm-5pm.

Essential Contractor Requirements

• Valid VA driver's license and clean driving record

Client Credentialing Requirements

Each of our clients has different credentialing requirements. As an independent contractor, if you don't have the required credentials for a particular client contract, or if they require new training, SilverRide can either provide that training or direct you to appropriate resources.

Possible requirements include:

• Drug testing
• DOT Physical (medical certificate), including TB testing
• CPR certification
• Defensive Driving course completion

Contractor Compensation

• $32/hour (from first pick-up to last drop-off)
• $200 completion bonus with first payment
