Job summary

Mercy in El Reno, OK is seeking a Charge Registered Nurse who will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in line with established standards. The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active RN license in the hiring state or a compact license.

Qualifications

• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure requirements.
• Graduate from a school of nursing (ADN/ Diploma/ BSN).
• BLS is required or to be completed within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, C-PHON/OCN and PALS certifications commonly required.
• STABLE, C-EFM and other unit-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice.
• Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care and ensure safety and advocacy for patients.
• Participate in shift handoffs, documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
