Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shifts (7 pm to 7 am), three twelve-hour shifts per week. A sign-on bonus is available. The role covers patients from birth through the lifecycle with a focus on delivering safe, high-quality nursing care.

Responsibilities include coordinating care, providing clinical services as needed, and communicating issues to leadership. Requires GA RN license and BCLS; various advanced certifications may be required based on unit needs.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Georgia (GA) and multistate license (NLC/eNCL) as required
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) required
• Advanced certification in specialty area, if applicable (see addendum)

• NRP by the end of orientation period (Women's Services: Labor and Delivery, Mother/Baby, NICU, NAT, Nursery) Required
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program within 12 months of start date (Labor and Delivery) Required
• PEARS Certification ( at Piedmont Athens Hospital) Required
• PALS if unit provides care to pediatric patients (Surgical Services) Required
• ACLS and PALS Certification (Emergency Department) Required
• ACLS; PALS if unit provides care to pediatric patients (Surgical Services) Required
• Experienced Emergency Department nurses will have 30 days to obtain the PALS certification Required
