Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors in Nursing preferred; RN license (multi-state or single state).
• Required certifications: BLS (Instructor or Provider).
• Minimum two years of Med Surg experience and leadership experience highly preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, examine, and evaluate patients’ conditions; assist with care planning and execute care plans.
• Coordinate patient flow, prioritize care, and maintain documentation of assessments and incidents.
• Advocate for patients, address concerns, and educate families on health issues.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and support quality and safety goals.
• Maintain professional licenses and pursue ongoing development; engage in professional organizations.
• Mentor peers and uphold confidentiality, safety, and professional standards.
