Overview

The Charge Registered Nurse utilizes theoretical concepts as a basis for decisions in practice and will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing care in the Med/Surg unit as Charge Nurse, coordinating patient care and ensuring quality outcomes.
• Assess patient conditions, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient progress.
• Provide supervision and guidance to nursing staff; ensure adherence to policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
• Preferred Education: BSN preferred; ASN acceptable
• License: current RN license in Oklahoma
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association
