Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an experienced Charge RN Lead for our Burn Center. You will lead nursing care coordination and partner with the management team to elevate patient outcomes and the future of nursing.

You will oversee admission/discharge, staff coaching, and collaboration with specialists to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced burn unit.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• BLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• (RN) Registered Nurse (ADN or BSN)
• Strong Medical-Surgical experience with burns and/or wound care

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse (ADN or BSN)
• Must have strong Medical Surgical experience with a heavy focus in burns and/or wound care
