Job summary

The Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide patient care through the nursing process. The Charge Nurse will guide and coordinate nursing staff and collaborate with other disciplines to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role supports unit operations under the Nurse Manager/Director. Requirements include graduation from a School of Professional Nursing, SC RN licensure or compact licensure, and BLS certification.

Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. The Charge Nurse assists the Nurse Manager/Director with unit operations and management duties as assigned.

Additional Job Description

Education: Graduate of a School of Professional Nursing

Experience: At least one year of clinical experience as a staff nurse

Licenses/Certificates: RN Licensure in South Carolina or Compact Licensure Agreement
AHA BLS Certification
