HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, FL is seeking a Charge Nurse Trauma Stepdown to lead patient care in a high-acuity unit. You will influence outcomes through collaboration with the manager and hospital councils, shaping nursing initiatives and improving the patient experience.

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator role supports staff, coordinates admissions and discharges, and partners with leadership to drive quality care.

Qualifications

• RN with active license required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required within specified timelines.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification within 6 months.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.

• Assist with admission and discharge processes.

• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.

• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.

• Assist with staff scheduling.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date

• (RN) Registered Nurse

• Associate Degree

• Trauma Care After Resuscitatio, or Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
