Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
• Establishes a plan of care with patient involvement as appropriate.
• Supervises and mentors nursing and support staff during shifts.
• Assists in determining staffing levels and assignments.
• Provides direct patient care as needed.
• Floats between staff to assist with problem-solving.
• Manages admissions, discharges, and transfers.
