Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital is seeking an experienced RN for a Nightingale role in Med/Surg and Telemetry. The part-time Days schedule supports patient care excellence and mentoring of newer staff.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, care planning, discharge coordination, and medication administration. Requirements: Ohio RN license, BLS, ACLS for sedation areas; BSN preferred; 3 years in an RN HOPS role at Cleveland Clinic prior to retirement.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Experience requirement: RN HOPS role prior to retirement at Cleveland Clinic.
• Current Ohio RN license with BLS; ACLS required where moderate sedation is used.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients; perform nursing assessments and document findings.
• Develop and update care plans with patients and families.
• Coordinate ongoing care and plan for discharge.
• Provide telephone triage and participate in call rotations.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by physicians.
• Supervise nursing care and act as charge nurse when assigned.
