Qualifications

• Currently licensed and registered to practice as a professional nurse in Indiana.
• Pass pre-employment process and screening.
• Pass the physical examination required for gainful employment within the facility.
• Professional manner and appearance.
• Knowledge of nursing policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with medication administration and related laws and regulations.
• Understanding residents’ physical, psychological, social and medical needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients on your shift.
• Follow the Comprehensive Care Plan for each patient.
• Assist Unit Manager with thorough and accurate documentation.
• Supervise direct resident care personnel on your shift.
• Foster and maintain a good working relationship with other staff.
• Demonstrate leadership and good judgment.
