Job summary

The Center at Tucson is seeking a Weekend Charge Nurse RN to lead the nursing team and provide direct patient care at a skilled nursing facility in Tucson, AZ. The role features weekend shifts with 10-12 hour days, and both part-time and full-time options are available depending on staffing needs and experience.

As Charge Nurse you will supervise daily nursing activities, ensure ward operations align with regulations, and support admissions, patient questions, and med passes.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current and valid fingerprint clearance card (FPCC).
• Must possess a current and valid Registered Nurse license.
• Must possess a current and valid CPR certification.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
• Must have at least one year experience as a licensed RN.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing staff in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Assist with admissions (i.e., inputting orders, taking report, etc.).
• Address questions and concerns from patients and patient families.
• Assist with med pass and floor nursing as needed.
• Audits as assigned by nursing management.

Shift Availability: Part-time or full-time available. Weekends required, potential for additional days during the week for full time hours. 10-12 hour shifts anticipated.

Pay: $38-46/hour, dependent on experience.

Job Description:

The primary purpose of the Charge Nurse is to provide direct nursing care to patients and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the nursing staff.

Qualifications: Education, licensure, certifications, and experience:
