Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia; current National Professional Certification required.
• Associate's Degree; ADN or Diploma required.
• BSN preferred or required depending on role experience.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a charge nurse ensuring patient care is provided in a cost-effective, quality-driven manner.
• Leads teams and participates in NGMC committee/council activities.
• Models healthy work environment behaviors and fosters trust and empathy among staff.
• Engages in quality improvement activities and applies evidence-based practice.
• Precepts students, nurse residents, and experienced nurses as needed.
• Utilizes basic computer skills to operate unit computer systems.
