Job summary

MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center is seeking an RN III – senior for the night shift to provide expert nursing care and leadership in a 36-hour weekly schedule.

The role emphasizes nursing process, evidence-based practice, and mentorship to foster professional growth and shared governance within a collaborative team. A BSN is preferred and licensure is required in Iowa.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• BSN is preferred.
• Current Iowa RN license is required (out-of-state license if practicing there).
• BLS is required within three months of hire.
• ACLS is required within three months of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter training for Child and Dependent Adult Abuse within six months.
• Specialty practice certification is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Current Iowa RN license, (current IL license if working in IL) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within three (3) months of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required within three (3) months of hire.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter for both Child and Dependent Adult Abuse training is required within six (6) months of hire.
• Specialty practice certification is preferred..
• Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
• Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health and MercyOne.
