Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Charge Registered Nurse who will lead nursing care by applying theoretical concepts to clinical decisions. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in alignment with nursing standards and Mercy policies.

The role requires an active RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure, and a BSN is preferred. You will work with a collaborative team, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Maintain RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• BLS/CPR certification required; additional unit-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate and optimize patient care across shifts.
• Ensure documentation and compliance with Mercy policies and regulatory standards.
