Job summary

This role requires an Associates degree in nursing, a Florida RN license, and BLS certification; ACLS/NIHSS are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership for the nursing team on assigned shift and coordinates patient care and staffing.
• Assigns tasks, conducts shift huddles, and ensures effective utilization of staff based on patient acuity.
• Coordinates care with the patient’s treatment team and oversees documentation and care plans.
• Administers medications and direct patient care while ensuring safe operation of clinical equipment.
• Maintains supply levels and supports cost-effective care while supervising staff performance.
• Acts as liaison between physicians and administrators and communicates protocol changes to staff.
