Advocate Health in Milwaukee is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Abdominal Transplant unit. You will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process, ensuring safety, quality, and excellent patient experiences across the care continuum.

You will work with a specialized team in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, leveraging strong communication and clinical skills to support patients undergoing liver, kidney, and pancreas care.

Formación

• Graduate from accredited school of nursing
• ADN acceptable with agreement to enroll in BSN completion program in two years to be completed in five years
• 2 years RN experience
• 1 Year Charge Nurse Experience
• Good communication skills
• Good computer skills
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Familiarity with patient care equipment
• Certifications/education required for the nursing specialty - See Certification Addendum
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Where You Will Work:

8C The Abdominal Transplant (Liver, Kidney & Pancreas) unit has 26 beds. High acuity- step-down unit to SICU. We not only take care of transplant patients but also see liver disease, renal disease, general abdominal surgeries, oncology surgery and urological overflow. This is a fast paced, moderate acuity floor that requires the ability to think on your feet and build relationships with your patients. We would love for you to join our team!!

We’re Looking For:

Education/Experience Required:
