Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• 1–3 years Professional nursing experience in a patient care setting.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• RN license with DORA.
• ACLS required within 6 months.
• NRP required within 6 months of hire.
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification within 6 months.
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification within 1 year after obtaining Intermediate Fetal Monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Oversee department/unit for assigned shift with clinical and managerial duties.
• Assess patients and families to identify health problems and provide education.
• Coordinate with health care team to plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Administer and document medications and reassess patient status.
• Monitor and report vital signs and changes in patient condition.
