Job summary

Piedmont Cartersville is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle in a hospital setting. You will provide clinical care as needed and communicate patient care needs to leaders, while serving as a resource for staff guidance and support.

Required are GA RN licensure, BCLS, ACLS and PALS certifications, and chemotherapy/biotherapy certification prior to independent chemotherapy administration; NRP and other unit-specific

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• GA RN licensure required; NLC/eNCL multistate licensure allowed.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification required prior to independent chemotherapy administration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle.
• Provides clinical care as needed when census demands.
• Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s).
• Serves as resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.

RN - Georgia State Licensure
