The position requires CA RN licensure, critical care certifications, and 2+ years in RN roles. Pay range is $50.24–$75.36 per hour with night shifts and full benefits.

Qualifications

  • CA RN license with BLS required and Kaweah Health approved crisis intervention training within 60 days of hire/transfer.
  • ACLS within nine months of hire/transfer.
  • PALS within one year of hire/transfer.
  • TNCC provider card within 18 months of hire/transfer.
  • MICN within three years of hire/transfer.
  • Nationally recognized certification per specialty Core Curriculum Pathway preferred.
  • BSN, MSN or current enrollment in RN-BSN program preferred.
  • Minimum of two years RN experience in specialty area preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Essential: a primary clinical resource for staff on the assigned unit.
  • Act as a role model and mentor for staff.
  • Represent unit leadership in absence of Nurse Manager/Director.
  • Provide leadership and problem-solving for staff.
  • Coordinate clinical assessment and decisions as a resource for staff.
  • Support staff, patients and families, and advocate for care.
  • Ensure proper staffing, assignments, and float staff orientation.
  • Facilitate nurse/physician collaboration and SBAR-based communication.
