Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking an experienced registered nurse to coordinate high-quality care from birth through the lifecycle. You will provide clinical support as census demands, communicate effectively with the team, and escalate issues to the appropriate leaders.

Applicants must hold a Georgia RN license, current BCLS, and required ACLS/PALS certifications. An orientation period is provided with opportunities for professional growth in a collaborative, community-focused setting.

Qualifications

• RN license in Georgia (and multi-state) required or eligible
• BCLS required
• ACLS and PALS certifications required
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification prior to independent chemo administration
• NRP by end of orientation period
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program within 12 months
• PEARS certification at Piedmont Augusta Hospital
• PALS if unit cares for pediatric patients
• ACLS; PALS for Surgical Services as applicable
• 1 year nursing experience in a hospital setting required; 2+ years preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinates delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle.
• Provides clinical care as needed when census demands.
• Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leadership.

Education

RN license in Georgia (and multi-state)

Bachelor's Degree Preferred
