Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide nursing care on the unit and support patient care through EHR documentation and collaborative teamwork.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, 2 years of nursing experience with at least 6 months as an RN, and an active RN license. Day shift, on-site position with on-call rotation and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Two years of nursing experience, with at least 6 months as an RN.
• Possession of a valid, current RN license as approved by the Texas State Board of Examiners.

Responsibilities

• Makes daily assignments as appropriate and ensures all daily assignments are accomplished.
• Communicates patient data using EHR to support decision-making to improve patient care.
• Assists with or performs exams and procedures and documents intervention in EHR.
• Administers or assists with administration and documentation of medication.
• Attends staff meetings and shares information with the staff.
