Job summary

SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital - St. Louis is seeking a Regular full-time RN to lead unit staffing and coordinate clinical objectives across the Cardiology department. The role focuses on delivering quality patient care and supervising nursing and support staff on day shifts.

Responsibilities include assigning care, collaborating with AP providers, and evaluating outcomes. Requires RN licensure, BLS HCP, and at least one year of RN experience, with a strong focus on safety and team leadership.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with RN licensure.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a clinical setting.
• Current BLS HealthCare Provider certification required.

Responsibilities

• Directs and evaluates nursing and support staff during each shift.
• Assesses daily patient care needs and assigns appropriate care.
• Collaborates with advanced practice providers to ensure quality outcomes.
• Evaluates patient care effectiveness and addresses issues affecting outcomes.
• Responds to patient care complaints through established channels.
• May contribute to hiring, training, and staff development.
